Giving Back

Stewardship is returning a portion of our gifts to God. The gifts we return are our time, our talent and our treasure.

God calls us to be generous with all our gifts, including our treasure. Our faith teaches us through Scripture: “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits …” (Proverbs 3:9)

Offertory Donations
St. Mary Magdalen Church depends on the generosity of parishioners and guests to fulfill the mission to be the presence of Christ to all we meet. Your gifts help sustain this mission and the ministries of our parish.
- Our Online Giving below can take a one time or monthly recurring offertory donation using credit cards or bank accounts. We encourage you to give a recurring gift that allows you to give without the hassle of remembering checks, cash, and envelopes.
- If you would prefer setting up a traditional automatic withdrawals from your bank account, that form is also available below.

Online Offertory Donation Stop

If you are having an issue with an online offertory donation through our website, or would like to stop a recurring donation please reach out to Kylie Lavelle. Keep in mind, stopping an online offertory donation can be done on your end if you set up an online account when initially set up your recurring donation.
Traditional Automatic Withdrawal Donations

Sign up to have your offertory automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account (weekly or monthly) by submitting a completed Authorization for Electronic Contribution form to the parish office. This form can also be used to change the date or amount of your automatic withdrawal. Completed forms can be mailed to the parish office or emailed directly to Kylie Lavelle our Parish Coordinator.
Offertory Envelopes

When you register as a parishioner at SMM you are mailed offertory envelopes unless you have requested to make donations through automatic withdrawal. Your parishioner ID/ envelope number will be printed on the offertory envelopes. If you are currently not receiving envelopes and would like to, please reach out to Kylie Lavelle or call the parish office at 302-652-6800.
Donations in Honor / Memory of Someone

To make an online donation in honor or memory of someone, visit our Memorial Donation page. Here we will gather all the necessary information and once received we will mail a letter out to whomever you indicate to let them know of the donation made in honor or memory of the person indicated.
