Volunteer Positions
If you are interested in volunteering for one of the open positions below, please contact Tim Beadle.
President – Tim Beadle
Responsible for the management of the Athletic Association. 2-year term.

Vice President –  Brian Henry, Mickey Pelligrino
Solicits the volunteer coaching staffs, serves as back-up to the president and other duties as assigned. 2-year term.

Treasurer – John Marazzo
Prepares budgets, collects sport fees, coordinate the payment of invoices, budget reporting at meetings. 2-year term.

Secretary – Chris Mascioli
Prepare meeting minutes for the monthly meetings. 2-year term.

Registration – Dan Costello
Coordinates three season sign-ups.  Collect the fees, prepare the team lists, prepare and collect the forms. 

Fund Raising – MaryBeth Connors
Conducts fundraising and other events as necessary.

Sports Czar – see below
Responsible to help recruit coaches, help distribute uniforms and equipment, authorize purchase of equipment and /or uniforms, assign practice fields/gyms and times, make sure pictures get taken, set up clinics for coaches (medical and sport), help teams be aware of tournaments, inform coaches of certification meetings, make sure rosters are turned in,

Uniforms and Equipment – Drew Aaron
Helps organize closet, maintains the inventory of uniforms and equipment, and coordinates the purchase of uniforms and equipment. 

Gym Coordinator – Dave and Sally Dryden
Gym monitoring – schedule monitors for each game in SMM gym (volleyball & basketball) 
Gym maintenance - closets, locker rooms, scoreboard, gym floor 
Gym scheduling - open and closing gym/manage keys 

Facilities -- Diane Prost
Schedules the SMM gym for all needed activities, for each team, for the School, etc.

Facilities Coordinator -- OPEN
Schedules gyms and fields for practices and games.

Concession Stand Coordinator – OPEN
This individual would coordinate concession sales which is one of our primary sources of income for the athletic association during volleyball (fall) and basketball (winter) seasons.  The responsibilities include coordinating parent staffing, ordering supplies and counting the money.  Opening and closing needs to be coordinated as well. 

Photographic Coordinator – OPEN
This individual works with the photographer to schedule pictures, collect the payment and distributes the pictures.  This job carries through all the seasons: fall, winter and spring. 

First Aid Kit Coordinator –  OPEN
Define contents of each team kit, procure the necessary materials and maintain inventory. 

8th  Grade Banquet Coordinator – OPEN
Plan and execute the annual sports banquet.  Prepare menu, arrange for speaker, order the plaques, decorate the hall, work within a budget, prepare annual slide show. 

Communications – Susan Rickert
Prepare write-up for Church periodical, coordinate with bulletin printing. 

Web Site – Susan Rickert
Maintain an active web site for SMMAA including schedules, coaches, team rosters, standings/scores, online forms.
