Athletic Association Meetings
are held the 2nd Sunday of every month in the Church Hall at 7:30pm

SPRING REGISTRATION:

Feb 1 and Feb 8 (both are Friday nights)

7 to 8:30pm, Parish Life Room  (near the entrance by the gym)

The following sports are available this spring:

-Girls Varsity Softball (7th and 8th grade) $60 per athlete.

-Girls JV Softball (5th and 6th grade) $60 per athlete.

-Boys Varsity Baseball (7th and 8th grade) $70 per athlete.

-Girls and Boys Track and Field (3rd - 8th grade) $50 per athlete.

As of 7/1/06, all CYM athletes with braces must wear mouthguards at practice and games.

CONCESSION STAND

FOR THE SAKE OF GOD'S CHILDREN
The SMM Athletic Association would like you to know that it is in complete support of and in compliance with the Diocese of Wilmington's "For the Sake of God's Children" program.  All our coaches have undergone background checks, and we actively try to promote a safe environment for our children.  If you have any questions, concerns or complaints, please email us or call the AA president, Tim Beadle.  Click here for more information on the program itself.

ONLINE REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Each school year, parents are required to register their players online at the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington website.  
Step 1:  Go to www.cdow.org/cymathletics.html
Step 2a:  If this is your first visit, register for a Username and Password, which will be emailed back to you shortly.
Step 2b:  If you have registered before, but forgot your Username or Password, click on the link provided to have it emailed to you.
Step 3:  Click on the "Online Registration" link to register your child, once you have your Username and Password.
Step 4:  Fill out the forms (have health insurance info handy).
Step 5:  Print out summary, sign, and give to coach at first practice.

EARN SERVICE HOURS
All high school students interested in filling their Service Hour requirements by helping with AA projects, please contact Tim Beadle  for more information.

RETURN YOUR UNIFORMS!
At the end of each sports season, please wash your uniform and return it to your coach, so we can use it next year.

IS YOUR GAME CANCELLED?
Check for updates on game cancellations at the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington website: cdow.org, or click here.  If your team plays outside of CYM, coaches should contact the league officials, and players should contact their coaches.

SCHOOL CLOSED =
PRACTICES CANCELLED!
If SMMS or the public schools are closed (for snow or other reasons), we cannot practice in that facility because there are no janitors to open and close the gyms.  This includes the SMM gym if the school is closed due to weather.
